The Church I See |

A church for a city

City vision

I SEE a city-wide church with a heart not just for Bridgeton but for the whole city of Glasgow and beyond.

Kingdom vision

I SEE a Church that is committed to relationship and unity. Partnering with other expressions of God’s family in the city to see a city transformed by the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A church alive in the spirit

Celebration

I SEE a charismatic, vibrant church made up of all ages that knows how to celebrate the goodness of God.

Intimacy

At the same time, I SEE a church that knows how to discern the whispers of God in intimacy.

A house of prayer

I SEE a church that knows how to call out to God in prayer and is desperately hungry for the Presence of the Lord.

A church on mission

I SEE a church that is truly missional – focused on the needs of others with a huge heart for the Work of God across the nations. Short term mission teams leave this House to bless others worldwide with some called to longer term mission.

Raising the next generation

I SEE a church that produces leaders and raises up the next generation of younger leaders – actively discipling and reaching today’s kids and youth.

Character that reflects jesus

I SEE a church of incredible character and integrity that reflects the true nature and beauty of Jesus in an ever increasingly secular culture.

A Church Known For

Growing Strong

I SEE a church that WILL become

Numerically Significant

Spiritually Strong

All for his glory

I SEE a church that realises it is only there because of the grace and goodness of God and gives all praise and glory back to God.

Can you see such a church?

Let’s embrace the journey and let faith and courage rise within us as we seek to build such a church knowing that Jesus alone is the true builder.
